Courageous Sailing offers both regattas and facilitated programs delivered in partnership with Group Experiential Learning, the nation’s leading provider of sailboat-based management training, leadership development and custom team building programs. GEL is also the official supplier of team building and leadership development programs to the US Sailing Team AlphaGraphics, an organization with deep Courageous Sailing ties.

BoatWorksSM

Boatworks is a customizable, facilitated team building or leadership development experience. BoatWorks leverages a non-racing, multi-sailboat format to get client teams gelling as they battle the wind, the currents, their collective anxieties and a special group challenge, all under the watchful eyes of our professional coaching staff. The BoatWorks challenge is similar to an obstacle course, but individual boats can’t go it alone. Success requires extensive collaboration between sub-teams via hand-held radios. >>> more

Charting ChangeSM Custom Programs

Over 50% of the programs GEL delivers across the country are customized for clients. GEL creates one, two and three day executive retreats complete with pre-event leadership style and/or team dynamics assessments.
