12th Annual, Make A Mark Gala- July 15, 2008
In 2007, this fun and lively evening doubled as a remarkable resource for Courageous, raising over $100,000 in support our free youth sailing programs. Thanks to all those who supported this event and we hope to see you all on the pier in 2008!
Festivities included:
- Dancing and Refreshments
Partygoers will enjoy hors d'oeuvres, a light dinner, and cocktails while you dance the night away to the 21-piece Compaq Big Band.
- Youth Program Regatta
Courageous' youth, students and instructors, will offer gala goers a front row seats for a sailing regatta off the end of Pier 4 on Boston Harbor. Attendees will be able to watch Courageous youth showcase their sailing skills!
- Live Auction/Silent Auction
In 2007 the Live and Silent Auctions were made up of wonderful donated items. The auctions raised over $40,000 for free youth programs. If you would like to get an idea od what to expect in 2008, you can download past auction item lists here:

Courageous Challenge- May 19, June 2, 9, 16, and 23 2008
Courageous' most popular and successful corporate fundraiser is theCourageous Challenge Regatta. For 5 Monday nights from May 19nd to June 23rd, various Boston corporations raced with their respective crews and enjoyed a light sunset buffet on Pier 4. College Bowl Charity Regatta & Pier Party- September 2008
