Our Fleet
Courageous is fortunate to have a fleet of over 50 sailboats ranging from our International Class Laser & 420 dinghies to our full-size cruising boats. Our core Learn to Sail, day-sailing and one-design fleet consists of 24 Rhodes 19's. For more advanced one-design racing and performance sailing we have 9 J/22s. From there members can up their game to our larger cruising boats, perfect for day and overnight trips to the harbor islands.

The core boats in Courageous' fleet are the Rhodes 19's. Dinghy Racing Fleet In the spring and fall Courageous is home to the Boston Latin High School Sailing Team. They make use of our Club 420's. The Laser fleet is raced competitively in the summertime by members of the Adult Program. Cruising Fleet Courageous offers cruising memberships for our more experienced members. After completing a US Sailing Basic Crusing course, members can check out any of our 5 cruising boats. After getting comfortable with larger boats, members can take the US Sailing Bareboat Course and start taking some of our larger cruisers out to an island for the night.Read MoreCruising Fleet
